World of Warcraft becomes total lagfest...
11.5 million players pissed

Digg the petition, stop the lagging!

Ever since the release of the new expansion, Wrath of The Lich King, the ever-expanding World of Warcraft has seen a huge influx of new players. But it seems that Blizzard, the game's developers, are also losing significant portions of their audience as their servers are incapable of dealing with a lot of the pressure that the expansion brings.

A lot of the game's key areas, most of which are called 'instances', have been almost unplayable since the expansion came out. With no improvement thus far, all the most active players are getting the feeling that Blizzard seems to have no intention of fixing this any time soon. Something that hasn't been denied by their Game Masters' vague reponses.

Is the world's largest massive online game finally breaking down due to the immense server loads or are the developers getting lazy due to their strong impenetrable hold on the market that doesn't look to be in danger any time soon? The latter seems most likely, since increasing server capacity should be no difficult feat for one of the world's biggest and most succesful game developers.
